So I am happy to say that I haven't blogged in awhile because I was working like crazy on getting ready for Christmas...and I am happy to report that as of Thursday I was done with everything including wrapping! Yes it is true! In the last 20 years I have to say that this is only the second time that this has happened! A lot of that is due to the online shopping! I was able to get everything that I wanted without driving all over town and I only paid delivery for 1 item...how about that? Pretty dang awesome! So now I can enjoy!
Greg and the kids went to St. Louis for the weekend to see the Rams get whopped but they had fun and that is all that matters! I stayed home and choreographed the church Christmas party that actually went very well- even though I almost freaked out about Santa not arriving...but all stress was in vain as Santa did arrive and all was well!
My son has let us know that he will be calling at 3:00 eastern time on Christmas Day and I am very excited about this! It will be Mothers Day before I get to speak to him again! So I sent off his package of 3 new ties and some goodies and of course his Christmas Eve PJ's (that he will want to kill me over) It was weird trying to find him a gift while he is serving a mission there are very few things that he can have.
So I got to scrap a little last week and I made some cards- and how fun are the ones on top? They are from Chris's 4th quarter files- She is now signing up for
first quarter and if you are not already a member I would highly recommend it! For the 10 dollars that you pay you get quite a deal. Her files are amazing and really easy to use- I have a wishblade and a Klic-n-Kut and they work well on both...although honestly I struggle with my KNK...but mostly because I am a complete dork. The card below turned out totally cute- I used spray ink for the background and the put the cuts on. I then used glitter and applied it with a brush to the willows. I was very excited that it turned out so cute.
Well I hope that you are as ready for Christmas as I am and that you can enjoy this week!

Merry Christmas
